Eu-BEST at SpaceTech 2025: A look back at an inspiring edition !

SpaceTech 2025 in Bremen has officially wrapped up - and what an edition it was! Three days filled with energy, innovation, and a vibrant community passionate about pushing space technologies forward.
For the Eu-BEST team, it was the perfect opportunity to share our vision, meet new partners and take another step toward reshaping access to rocket engine testing in Europe.
A strong confirmation of market needs
Throughout the event, we met with different actors from the space sector: startups, established companies, agencies and research groups. These conversations were not only inspiring but they also clearly reaffirmed the need for accessible, interoperable and cost-efficient testing infrastructure.
A Spotlight on the Eu-BEST project
Our conference session was one of the highlights of our participation.A big thank you to Manuel Wilhelm, who delivered a clear and engaging presentation, walking the audience through our approach, our objectives and the technologies behind Eu-BEST.
The session sparked valuable discussions around:
How the Eu-BEST test bench can serve different types of rocket engines
The interoperable architecture we are building
The tools and methodologies enabling safe and efficient testing
Participants were particularly interested in seeing more concrete visuals of the test bench layout and understanding the technical capacities we are developing.
On-the-Ground interactions: the real added value
One of the best parts of SpaceTech is always the spontaneous discussions at the stand.This year was no exception - Rime Hamadeh and Killian Journeau were on the Eu-BEST stand throughout the event, welcoming visitors, answering questions and exchanging ideas.
These interactions helped us:
identify potential synergies
better understand industry pain points
explore collaboration opportunities
validate the relevance of our technical roadmap
The genuine curiosity and enthusiasm from the community made these moments especially rewarding.
What’s Next?
We are now moving forward with the next development steps and upcoming milestones, working closely with our partners to bring the Eu-BEST test bench to life.
